Thanks for the info, had a friend go to Woodruff last week & did good. One of the guys at Highland Park said it was one of the earliest speck bites they have seen there in years.

How was the boat traffic headed for the Glen?
The finest gift you can give to any fisherman is to put a good fish back, and who knows if the fish that you caught isn't someone else's gift to you?"

I don't know the exact distance but it's probably a couple miles, mostly all go fast zone & gets busy. Used to spend a lot of time up that way & we put in at Parramore's it cost a couple few dollars to use their ramp but sometimes beats the public ramp. When you come out to the river from there we used to go across & take what we always called Blue Creek - not sure if thats what it called on a map, never looked. It goes past some houses, then swamp & comes out right at the mouth of Lake George, have caught some decent fish back there too.

    Huntinslabs,
It's about 5-6 miles from the public ramp to Lake George. There are 3 no wake zones but none of them are very long.Blue Creek however
is very long and all no wake. Very scenic! I bass fish up there alot. I've been layin up to speck fish it but when there is so much good stuff
close to home it's hard to motivate. Maybe we can put a trip together after it cools down a bit.
