    Default crankbaits

I don't see a lot of posts about using crankbaits here, I'm not asking for secrets, just want to know if any of you use crankbaits? Lonflining or pushing?

crank baits work well on certain waters in Florida...........Color seems to be big
thing along with type of crankbait your going to use..............

Certain kinds of "rattle-traps" work great down here, others they won't look at........
no matter what color and / or weight.

I have tried crankbaits on a couple of lakes in GA with some success, but since I usually fish Talquin, I won't use them because of all the underwater structure...Maybe we can talk Lightwirehooker into making some with Lightwire hooks

Thanks guys for your input. Some of the other sites have reports of using bandits, rapalas, ect. I myself use crankbaits with fair results. Some strike king bitsy minnows, crappie maxs, and some others. Lots of bluegills, bass and catfish, and a fair amount of crappies. It is kind of challenging to long line in most of the lakes with crankbaits, shallows, and hydrilla will really make you sharpen your skills.

Have had some success in lakes with river channels through them, strike king bitsy & bandit series in the lighter colors, although can't say the larger specks prefer them, our lakes in florida are shallow for the most part & believe depth effects cranks the most, just sayin', for anyone that's had better success keep ling your secrect's safe.
    crappie down !
