    Default Electrical Boat winch

I'm considering purchasing a electric boat winch, I have no experience with this and would like some help or good advise. Are they any good or not? I have read a lot of customer reveiws on the Bass pro shops page and they are not encouraging.

    Thanks

I would think that if your able to float your boat off the trailer then you should be able to drive onto the trailer enough to just hook it up. Then you can invest less money into a ladder that hooks onto the front of the trailer such as these.

An electric winch looks tempting, and with my 17 footer hardly a problem...................but.............I would be more concerned about that thing being swiped, then anything else. If they steel winch handles without a second though.............an electric one would be too tempting to the trash that steal.
