    Default Monroe and Rain

Got to the ramp this morning at 6:30 where my brother-in law, who I promised a fishing trip, was waiting for me. We and launched the boat and then a downpour happened and of course by the time we broke out the rain gear we were soaked. We sat in the truck debating whether to call it or wait for the rain to pass. After a few minutes the rain subsided and off we went with about 2" of water in the bottom of the boat. Needless to say we were soaked from head to toe but a fishing we were going. I tried to cross the lake but the wind and rough water nixed that plan so we went to the gator hole and fished out of the wind. Turned out to be a great day landed 23 kept 8 and home by 10AM.
