Thread: Finally got out ! !

My buddy Jim's dad has been down from Minnesota visiting and is getting ready to return home. Jim wanted to take him fishing and get some fish to take home with him when he goes.
So, off we go .....

Put in at favorite spot at north end of Jessup/hwy#46 and fished several spots all the way to Monroe.
Got a couple nice sized catfish (7 total) and only got (8) crappie, of which, biggest was a med. I wouldn've kept several but Jim and his dad said they needed em to make a mess, etc, etc......

We did eventually get out in the lake but never even got a bite.
Also picked up (3) bluegills, got several warmouths but tossed em back = way too small, etc, etc......
Was a beautiful morning and was finally great being back on the water giving boat motor a good workout.

WTG to Speck Detector on Harney, anymore I just find it hard to stop at Harney when headed west (Monroe),......
We seen a loooooot of boat trailers there when we came back, plus, yeah, we experiences the bite shutting down bout same time .....

Is getting about that time of year again, I might make one or two more trips fresh water, then, head back to salt.
Them boys are doing great over in the lagoon and IRL with reds/trout and blacks .....

I still got 39 Mb of space, but, something ain't workin, etc, etc.............


EDIT--> OK I think I know what's wrong = my files are capitalized = JPG, might work if they are small (jpg), but, this windows 7 crap
won't let me edit the extensions (that I know of) and I don't see the DOS function anywhere = will keep looking, etc....

Nope, don't seem like nothin works ..........

Sounds like a solid mixed-bag danny, I'm sure jimmy's father appreciates the guide service. As far as harney only 1 other boat fishin specks, most bass fishin the banks & maybe 4 boats hunting shell crackers on the north side. Had a convoy of 15 jet ski's pass through & many air-boats with the winds down, probably most of the trailers you seen. Your right though it's winding down, "speck season" that is.

Well you see how nasty looking the livewell is, what fish would want to be thrown in there.
