Looking forward to meeting the Georgia crowd on Saturday, March 24th. It's about a 4 1/2 hrs drive from my place in Sorrento and an even shorter distance for other Florida crappie.com folks. If you're interested there are several posts on the Georgia site with all the details. I thought it would be fun if several of us losers met the dudes and dudettes that whopped us on the 10th. It is normally $139/night, but Crappie.com members are getting a discount for $79/night for that week. I will be staying there also next weekend...Never stayed there but I have heard it is a real nice place. They also have boat slips...Thats what sold me!!

No, just driving up for a couple of days. If you watch that video tour of that place, you might get on up there.

Does Georgia have a 3 day out of state license or do you have to buy the annual? And does Black Shear have the stumps like Talquin?

There are some stumps in Blackshear, but nothing like Talquin...You can pretty much run anywhere you want to in that lake stump free until you get up to the north end of the lake and it gets a little tricky there...It looks like there is a 3 day Hunting/Fishing combo for $20.00. (Looks like they would just have a regular fishing one) Here is a link that may help:
