    Default Crescent Lake 03/02-03/04

Fished Crescent lake Friday from 11am-dark and again Saturday morning from daylight til about 11am. After that the wind pretty much ran us off the water for the rest of Saturday and Sunday. Managed 60 fish limit, biggest fish was 2.4lbs with 4 others pushing 2lbs as well. Was a wonderful trip other than the weather, we caught all of our fish in the main lake jigging, and shooting pilings, with about 2 fish from a treetop in Dunn's Creek. Name: 100MEDIA95IMAG0053.jpg

My hat's off to yeah, not but a couple of weeks ago many good fishermen combined didn't fair as well on the main lake, only the guys that fished dead lake had that kind of success. Well worth your trip from Ga., congrats.

I would love to do a little info swap with some of the folks that can tell me about dead lake, hall creek, and dunns. Once the wind got up we were pretty much shut down. PM me if you would like to discuss! And enjoyed FL as usual!

SYG knows lake quite well and probably could help you out the most as starter
to locating, depending on time of year..............That lake has some real dandies in
it and they sure move around according to time of year, water temp, wind conditions
along with very color sensitive .....not uncommon to see the 2 pounders come out
of there even as heavy pressured as it is. Believe at times the saline level of water
along with varaitons of salt water food chain help produce the large size.
Same will hold true at some locations on St Johns river down by Astor area and
at times Monroe sure does come through with some dandies.............In fact most
will agree - Monroe was a real hot spot this year vs past 3 -4 yrs........bite started
out good in late Sept - and was still going till maybe week or so ago..............
