I have used this set up out of 16' semi-v Starcraft for 15 yrs, and now use it
on 18 1/2' procraft.... Works well on pontoon, and can add more poles out............
Procraft we carry 20 - pontoon 35 plus - starcraft we carried 14.................
Key is utilize all space......central location of generator, electric cords to above
lights and separete cords for lights over the edge of boat....
Bow man controls show.........trolling mtr, set up of lights, rear deck man catches,
swings fish around to bow man, fish is off and dropped in live well.
Will have 2 -4 rods already pre-rigged standing by, should gar / cat /or bass cross
lines up, causing a "cluster muck", cut them out, put backups into play. Again bow
man will probably restring messed up lines or possible stern man, depending on
weather, wind etc and time of night.

I was on Kissimmee this past weekend to fish the super moon. Seems like all the boats were stacked up together over holes 7-9ft deep that were close to the lilly pads. Hot spot for us was east of the canal at the mouth of the pigtrails that take you to the north cove. Mostly 5 ft deep in there but if you can find the small 9ft holes scattered throughout those lilly pads and set your bobber at 6ft you will clean house. Had about 15 boats around us doing the same thing during the day but at night had it all to ourselves. More fish were cought inside the lilly pads than on the outer skirts of grass by the open water. dredging in the canal has water pretty muddy on the north end of the lake and I dont think that helped us at all. used live minnows but would like to find out what color jigs are working well in the cloudy water

If you fishing in daylight.............of full moon, those boats stacked in there were after
the Shellcracker, as this was first full moon when water was in 70's and spawn was on
That started over week ago on Friday..............as of yesterday Shellcrackers are gone.
most i heard caught was 5............They were heavy in school bus area, (bank side
by pig trail to North Cove), on the Ridge (area to right of kissimmee river, into about
2nd cut from river to Tiger Cove entrance to state park) Philadelphia point not much
happening there. Grape Hammock on marker 3A was producing Shells.
Some were catching spec's also in pad area mentioned above by minnow-pitching to
grass line from pig trails.......in 4 - 5 ft water at very edge...............
You did not mention if you were night fishing ?????? cause pads become very quiet
after dark and/or "happy hour".
A lot of spec's move out of North Cove pretty much after February and into first week
of March. Heat of water up there.
The dredging of Kissimmee (big waste of money) is going to keep entrance to lake
pretty much riled up for several months.................
For spec's look to Bird Island & Rabbit................. Bird, Southwest side grass line
and first lane of pig trail running closet to bank of Bird.............
Few people venture to North side Brahma Island kinda a little southeast of Thomas
Landing..........out there about in 16' water....but working the edge there are some
dandies to be caught at night..................
Jig fishin this time of year, go with Mr.Crappie, kinda of a pink feather, hair combination
32nd oz....or a "Perfect Jig" - made by some guy over around Stick Marsh area.
two sizes, 32nd & 64th........ no color head, chat. wrap with blue feather out back
(butt)
I use this approach with 14' Deep-south rod / shakespeare micro 250SS reel.

One light will work........depending on your budget two is better..........reason being
have one at the front and one at the back that way you will get a double wammie

the perfect jib i use the most is the one chaut middle & blue feather rear.............
two weights, i use the heaviest..........so as to feel bottom area easier..............
The slab daddy by Mr.Crappie, has the pink with kinda yellow feather tail...
Another for long-lining is the "pop-eye jig by Cabin Creek Baits............
biggest one they have - white head, black eyes & red feather tail, same comb with
yellow feather tail..................(tip with small minnow)
