S L A B F E S T will be @ santa fe lake-(north florida) saturday feb 26 2011 !!!!

ok everyone this will be our first slabfest of 2011! i will be hosting the event at santa fe lake in melrose/keystone heights fla.we will have access to a nice pavillion and a double launch ramp. we will have this on saturday-feb 26th,2011.we can all meet at park @6am for boaters meeting.we will have coffee and can answer any lake questions anyone might have.we can meet back @ park at 130 pm to clean fish and eat.i can only hope it goes as well as speckanator and company have done the last two events.lake monroe was a great time with the nicest people u want to meet.the pavillion is at lake santa fe park in melrose.free launch(county owned).there are restrooms and a playground as well.this is a great location for central florida and south georgia to travel to.there are motels 20 miles or less and i will post them later.just like the other 2 events there are no rules-just catch fish so we can eat!!!! we are going to let everybody pitch in 5 or 10 bucks towards big fish of the day winner take all,that will be fun! everyone let me know how many in your party and i will start a list. i cant wait to see every one!!! thanks jeff

What I could find on google and google map you have 2 choices,
Walldo-Rolling Villas RV Park--(352)468-3884 About 11 miles from lake

Goldhead State Park--- (352)473-4701 about 14 miles

Maybe someone can come up with one closer.

If you go to reserveamerica website you can search by closest to city or place, and book through them. Florida State Parks, KOA and many others use this site for booking.
