Had a bad Sunday...
Fished 4' to 10 ' of water. Trolled slow (.7mph); trolled fast (1.3mph). Didnt have minnows, but usually do ok even if we don't tip with minnows. Fished about 2 1/2 hours and didnt get but one, and it was a 3 inch fish. Fished with tubes and grubs, mostly lighter colors, but some darker. The one fish came late on a green/chartreuse blakemore roadrunner long lined out the back.
We debated running to the deep water canals, or over to the shallow creek that comes into the lake, but we just felt the cold and overcast skies weren't good for much.
On a day with falling temps, moderate wind, and overcast winter skies, where would you go? What pattern would you fish... better yet, who fished Sunday and had much success and with what?
