Global Warming!!!!!!!!!!

SorryDog and I tried this same thing last year.. It was much warmer then, than it is now. (I do not intend to imply that 40 degs is warm at all.) However these two Dumb South Georgia rednecks loaded up the boat and headed to Lake Talquin in a high stakes game of Cold Weather Chicken. Neighter one of us really believed all of the lies that the weatherman was telling on Chanel 6 WCTV. Mike Nuchatela can you really believe a man with a name like that. After driving two hours and launching the boat we stood at Luther Hall Landing with the boat slamming back and forth into the dock just chomping at the bitts ready to go. Mike, (The Weatherman) did mention that the winds MIGHT be around 15-20mph, but he didnt say a word about the 2 foot whitecaps that the SorryDog and I were looking at nor did he say a word about how cold it would be if you got wet and stood out in it.There is a big diffrence between wind chill and wet wind chill. Well I wasn't gonna say that I was scared He wasn't eighter so we got in the boat and gave it a go. Harveys creek was only 1/2 mile around the corner and about 45 mins later we got there. The boat had an extra 40 gals in the bottom from the whitecaps comming over the gunnel.( reminder to self:: Get a bigger Bilge Pump) We were both sopping wet and freezing. Of course we both put out lines and started fishing. We were miserable. I was waiting for him to call off the trip and he was waiting for me to do the same. But to do so would be admitting that the both of us were complete idiots by ignoring all of the warning signs and using poor judgment. 5 mins later I dont remember who said it first, we called the trip, saying that this was just plain stupid.................
