How far south if Florida are you?
I wouldn't have dared to go out today on the Harris Chain of Lakes. It only got up to 45 degrees with a slight wind.

Yep those are nice. It's 27 degrees with 2 inches of snow and still snowing here in North Central Arkansas.

About a year, and you'll have a heavy jacket on when the temps hit 50... you'll also be able to warm your hands with the fish you catch, the fish and the water will be warmer than the air temps.

Well if you young-uns were cold in south Florida then you know some of us oldies-but-goodies in the northeast - close to Georgia-- were froze over. Why even those he-man canoe-ers on that grueling trip up the whole stretch of the St Johns gave up yesterday way before artic wasteland of Palatka delt them the death knoll. By the way, that first fish curr dog is holding up by his singular self, is that really a crappie? Looks more like a uh, uh, what is it? large mouth bass? Don't have a pan big enough for that rascal. Have to steak a fish like that... bigger than these old eyes have ever seen. Tell you what, curr dog. I think there may have been some folks on this board that thought you were puttin them on originally. But I believe you got some of us questioning our methods by today.
