You know Doug, I started to call you today to see if you wanted to go out, but the wind picked up. I did play "Chase Boat" for a bud that had been working on his boat. When we were running down Harris Creek at about 40 it was great, but had to calm that down to about 30 to keep dry. Got kinda rough, so just did the big turn-around and headed back home. Will be looking for some good weather and will call you then Doug.

Hey Dusty, you need to find those fish.
Kev-Man said he was waiting for you to catch up.
Hope the weather gets better before I get back.

I think that Centerdriver ment HAINES CREEK, as that is where he lives.

    Tell us about Lake Yale.
Where is a good ramp to put a pontoon boat in?
Are there any good spots or just troll and watch the fish finder?

Default Too many wheat thrasher fisherman!

I have been fishing Lake Yale for 53 years (also Lake Eustis and lots of smaller lakes in the area) and I must report that it is overfished. There are several RV parks on the lake that put hordes of meat fishermen on the lake almost every day. I have seen as many as 6 boats with 8 poles each running together just like farmers in a wheat field - legal but not honorable. :DFish at night with lights and minnows in front of pads (will start soon) and usually pick up small males first just after dark, the the 12 inch females with eggs arrive around 8 PM. Cull anything under 11 inches and keep around a dozen 11 to 14 inch biggins - usually done by 10:30 PM. HINT: get a 12 to 14' aluminum boat with a small motor and fish the smaler lakes from Leesburg to hwy 50. Also, go to Astor and fish Lake Dexter or Lake George for some real action - this is where the locals go to get away from the crowds. I have some good spots with GPS in the above mentioned lakes for info trade. PS: JUST KEEP ENOUGH FOR A MESS OF FRESH FISH - don't need to show off with a freezer full.
