I went fishing on a military base a few weeks ago and had snakes all around me right? I was so dang nervous but I caught the biggest Crappie ever!

i was hitting a ft worth spot a year er so ago and had the same thing happen to me .....there was bit of disturbance on the surface by the boat and it traveled to the shore and the next thng ya know up comes a small water snake with a cat fish in its mouth ....surprised me that a snake that small was trying to eat a catfish but he seemed rather determined and who knows how it turned out ...i do have a few photos somewhere but they look exactly like your vid .....good job there on ketchn the live action
