I had a great day floating the Toccoa River near McCaysville with my friend and fellow guide, Joe DiPietro, recently. It was the culmination of a story I've been planning for months. I shot pheasants in South Dakota, gave a bunch of tails and feathers to Joe, who tied of some pheasant tail flies and nymphs. Then I got to go catch trout with the feathers of pheasants I killed in South Dakota -- pheasants coming full circle. A great time was had by all, and I think a fun story, with video.
