Picture of our 7 or 8 year old daughter in 1984 or 1985 at Norfork Lake with the 2-18" crappies she caught.
having grown up on the missippi river.i can tell you for sure,it a spoonbill catfish. These posts are great. brings back some great memories.:) :) :)
I've caught and released over 50 in the last few years that I caught in drainages off the Mississippi and Ross Barnett Spillway. They put up on heck of a fight when you get one over 20lbs. In the MS area we call them spoonbill catfish but they are closely related to the sturgeon not the catfish.
Just wanted to say that I've really enjoyed looking at the old fishing pics....keep them coming.
