Me and my dad were fishing a farmpond one day with rubber worms and my dad said ( I got a bite) at the same time I also got a bite and snatched and realed in the fish. As I was realing the fish in my dad noticed that the end of his line was coming to the boat with mine. When I got the fish in,it had got both our worms in it's mouth at the same time. Man that was real cool.![]()
A crappie day fishin beats working any day!!
Thanks for the story!
I had the same thinghappen to a good fishing partner and myself channel catfishing. The 3lber had both pf our stinkbait tubes in its mouth. We still joke about who caught the fish.Rofl
"i only like to fish when i am by myself or with someone"
While fishing on the old 61st street pier in Galveston a night I watched as another fisher with several lines was running back and forth on the pier. I had cast out and felt my bait settle onto the sandy bottom. The I watched this other guy cast out his line. Having my line tight I felt his bait settle on top of mine. I flicked my pole lighty and it caused his pole to twitch. He came running over to it. I twitched mine again and he moved closer to his. I called my two brother-in-laws over and told them what was happening. Then said watch this. I flicked my rod real hard and the fellow picked up his rod and set the hook. We laughted about that for a long time.
I got a bad habit of falling asleep if fish ain't biting. Dad picks on me about it, but keeps eye on my rod and waking me when I get a bite, great man. My brother in law came with us one night and I fell asleep as normal. A fish on my pole, Dad missed seeing it or well /cough, so it is swimming around and managed to get to the other side boat and get tangled my brother in law. He "sets" the hook and starts reeling it in. Dad yells at me that I got fish, so I start reeling mine in. So here we are fighting 2 huge fish, i gain on mine, he'd lose, then get to gaining and mine would start running. Whole time Dads a laughing, having a ball. He turns my brother in law and says" if you'll trip your bail, Jamie can reel in his fish". Was a cute little crappie, about 10 inches.
