Default Ever saw a catfish catch a bass?

One time I was fishing a small river by my house for catfish and had caught a few small ones when I caught the next one I could tell it was just a fiddler right when I got him to the bank a striped bass came out of no where and ate my catfish on my line the reel started striping drag and the fight was on when I finally landed both the fish I had the catfish in the mouth with my hook and the striper had ate the catfish but when he did the catfish had locked his 2 fins/stingers on his side open and the had went thru the fishes jaw and was locked like that! It was very hard to get the catfish out the stripers mouth I've never seen anything like that before!

I see LM Bass eat Crappie , Bream , and ect on a line or tossed back. I caught a 36 lb Flathead on a jug after it ate the 3 lb Channel Cat that had been caught. The only thing holding the Flathead was the spines on the Channel.

I've caught bass with smaller fish in thier mouths before, but never had a fish hit a fish I've hooked.

Nimrod - I wish I could have seen that Big Ol' Flathead take that Channel Cat. Wow

Caught more than a few northern pike in Canada while reeling in perch or small walleye. Used to catch 6" perch and hang them under a float and caught many nice pike like that also.
Keep them poles bent and the boat right side up! LOL
