    Default U.S. Inland Lakes, Southeast maps for garmin


    I just got a garmin oregon for my birthday. Just wander if anyone uses these maps, and if it has good detailed maps of kentucky and barkley lakes

    Funny you should mention that. I have a 2 year old copy of the US Lakes and just downloaded the maps to my card for KY and Barkley tuesday and shipped the card to a buddy for a vacation he's going on next week. While doing that, I drilled down and took a peak at it. Compared to what is available for Grenada Lake, I'd call the detail extreme. Channel bouys, fishing areas with vegetation marked and detailed descriptions of the area with suggested lures, marina info the works. Maybe there is a better map out there, but that's about all the detail I want from a GPS.

    Which version do you have ky/barkley show up on the northeast but southeast lists the state of ky
