    Question Question on a Hummingbird

This is my first visit in the mechanics section. Keep in mind I know absolutely nothing about nuts and bolts electronics.

Tony has a Hummingbird PiranaMax 210 fish finder. What type/kind of transducer will he need? Does it mount on the trolling motor? What is the best way and guage wire to mount it.

    Thanks all.

He can do an ebay search for the transducer he needs. That will be the least expensive when he goes to buy. Does it have a power cable with it or is it just the head unit he has? He will also be able to find a power cable if he needs one. As for gauge of wire, a light wire should suffice.

No, just a head unit. Appreciate your advice my friend. Thanks.

Humminbird: America?s favorite Fishfinder ? the leading innovator of Side Imaging technology

You can download the manual from there and figure out which transducer and power cable he needs. More than likely you can purchase a new unit if you have to buy this stuff from them. Check Ebay also maybe something will show up there.

The transom mount transducer is a XNT 9 20 T. The trolling motor transducer is XTM 9 20 T.
