Default Marcum LX-5 Flashers Dirt Cheap

Reeds Sporting Goods has Marcum LX-5 flashers for $299.00 + $15 shipping. This is an awesome deal. You have to call the store to get that price. these are new units, not reconditioned. 1-800-346-0019

I asked why so inexpensive and they said that Marcum has many units that they didn't sell and they don't want them on the shelf.

I had a vex fl-8 for many years and can't wait to get my LX-5. I'll rig it to use in my boat as well.

I received the unit today. I still can't believe they are selling these for this price. If you vertical jig, these are the way to go. I hope to get out tomorrow on the little lake I live on. I don't have the water temps you boys down south have yet, but we'll see what happens. Maybe I'll take my reel weeds with as well.

I bought one of those for ice fishing this past winter at the ....ahem close to $500 price , so that is a heck of a deal. Can you actually use these effectively from a boat? I thought of it..but not sure what I need. Guess I need to buy another transducer? If so, where do you get them?

When I had my FL-8, I only used it in open water, when I was stationary. I'll rig mine for my wife, because I think it will keep her interested in jigging longer, each time out. She does really well, but loses interest alot sooner than I.

The FL-8 had a styrofoam float, the LX-5 doesn't. I'll have to rig something up.
