    I read that it works best at 2 to 5 mph how slow will the SI work. Thanks for the help.

    I can still get a decent view while I'm trolling crankbaits, 1.5 - 2.0 mph
    Seems like it helps to slow down the scroll speed to 2 or so...

    i find that my 1197 work best when you match the scroll speed with tour actual speed
