Looks like you have things well in hand. I can only wish it could of been a software update instead of hardware. Will be anxious to hear how it performs in regards to target separation and surface clutter.

installing the broadband sounder to my Lowrance LCX-27C. I have not tried it on the water yet but it talks well with the head unit. Maps load much faster now that the transducer signal processing is no longer the responsibility of the head unit. Here is a link over to the VA OT Forum where I posted pictures of the install.

All I have left to do is secure the transducer cable and ethernet cable to the edge of the gunwale. I'm waiting for a longer ethernet cable before I do that. The one in the box is too short to route it properly.

Here are some screen captures from Sonar Viewer of the Broadband Sounder returns from a trip I made to Buggs Island Lake. There was no interference between my two depth finders and the return was as good or better than the analog setup.
