    Default SD card size??

What's the largest SD card that can be used with the 1197?? I have looked the manual over and have not found the max memory size the unit can access on the cards.

8 GB is largest normally, I use 4GB Extreme III by sandisk which is a fast card. If U plan on doing recording I would stick with a Extreme III card which is a fast card. I know time to take a pict is about 2 seconds compared to 6-8 for slower cards. I watch for sales got for $20.00 ea. with a $20.00 rebate from sandisk. U can check their website for rebates etc. if they have any going, With circuit city going belly up they may have some close outs, but a few months ago when closing a store near me they offered sales but only about 5% off on a few things what a joke........Even sears was cheeper than them on LCD tv's.

Have you tryed a 8gb in the 1197? Why I ask is my laptop will access a 4gb but not an 8gb. That's what got me checking in the manual for 1197, I was going to get an 8gb for it. I'm using a 2gb now. Just wanted more memory.
But I quess I will just get a 4 gb since that's the largest my laptop will read.
