    I just got done installing one in my boat...havent got to use it yet though so ill have to wait and see how it works

    Will this work through the interlink, or does it have to hook straight to the unit? Where did yall buy yours?

    The XM Weather will not share through Interlink. When you do attach it to a Interlink system you will only get the data on the unit where the XM Weather Receiver is plugged up too.

    the way i have mine ran is....997 on the console to weather sense..weather sense to interlink..and my 957 up on the bow runs to the other port in the interlink the GPS antenna is hooked directly to the 997 but is shared through the interlink...i went in to the system status on both units and all accys are working fine

    I ordered mine today. I have a 997 on the console and a 917 on the bow connected bt interlink. Guess I'll hook the XM directly to the 997.
