    Thank you I can only guess at what it means. Other than swimming down there in clear water there is no way to know. These catfish im guessing just refused to bite.

    hey, those are some good pics you have there. Good job showing the boat sitting still, and drifting...then showing the echo strength changes by the depth of the fish. You should post that up top in the screen images thread. That way the pics do not get pushed off the page.

    The fish holding tight to the bottom, and the dropoffs, especially those hanging out around the little humps are most likely inactive Crappie. You almost have to drop in their mouth so as to become an irritant to them to get them to bite. What unit are you using?

    Thanks all, I’m using the Lowrance x67c. I took the pictures with a digital camera on the micro setting. Then I edited the pics in microsoft picture it. It was about 11 pm when I took the pics. No fish were caught that nithj
