    Default Humminbird AS-GRHA Receiver

I got mine in the mail today and it is installed and ready to go.. Waiting for a good day to get out and put her to the test.. This is the one that is supposed to be accurate within one meter.. I can tell you that I have my boat in the garage and I merely opened the garage door and had a satellite fix instantly.. The 50 channel portion of the receiver seems to make a big difference.. I will keep you posted on my findings.. JusFshn

You should go out to boat once a day, turn on unit get a fix & then save it, after 5 or 7 days would be interesting to see a picture of your dots, saved spot-should be in a tite group with that ant. All the Hb folks I asked about this ant. say it is very accurate BUT will NOT help with the SLOW GPS problem as that is in the main unit drive itself. I wish it would be as easy as buying another ant. What unit are you using?

I am running the 1197c... It would be interesting to see what kind of group I could get out of the new receiver.. I would think with the boat in the garage it isn't getting a lock on multiple satellites.. Resulting in a lack of accuracy... We will have to keep that in mind when I post the results

I tried to get a sat. lock from my garage a couple time this past few days with no luck.. Conditions must of been right when I first installed the new receiver.. I am just waiting on a day to get out.. I took a picture of what the new receiver looks like.. The model number looks to be the only thing that has visibly changed on the outer shell... All the good stuff is on the inside!

I ended up getting a sat. lock but the boat/doughnut icon is jumping all over the screen..
