    I have several hundred waypoints on my 987csi how can i put them on a sd card so i wont loose them should i sell my unit thanks.

    you will need a mmc card along with an adapter the same size as the nav card slot.. You may also need a a card reader that has a USB adapter.. you can buy mobility kits like this one:

    Micro Center - 2GB Micro Secure Digital Mobility Kit

    This kit will have everything you need to store your waypoints... Once you insert the mmc card with adapter into the unit.. Power the unit up and open you navigation tab on the unit and look for the export data.. The unit will prompt you to with a question.. Are you sure you want to export nav data? Answer yes and your pretty much done... The waypoints will be stored on your mmc card and then you can store them on your computer and keep them on the card as back up... Good Luck and Enjoy!
