    Has anybody made or bought a sunvisor for the 997si? The sun really makes it harder to see it. I seen the one on Cabelas web site.

    Fishing Electronics Glare Guards & Sun Visors for Marine Electronics
    This is what I use says on with velcro strip going on 2 years & no problems, really like it.

    Try setting screen color to gray in bright sunlight. See it lots better. Well, I can see it lots better............

    I will try the grey. I never thought of that. thanks. If that doesn't work for me I will order that visor from the other post... thanks for all the input....

    I agree with cane pole...i run alot in the grey mode and it really help brighten the screen up. Once you get used to it...i think you will like it.
