Is anyone using the video out function to a display on the bow ?

if so , what are you using for a front monitor.

1197 output is composite video. Hook it to any thing with a yellow rca connector that has video in such as: laptop,TV, camcorder, etc.

    Default suggestion

get a Garmin 3206/3210 chartplotter. It has video in capabilities. Marine grade monitors are expensive.

I am gonna get one of these for my laptop as soon as I sell off some of my other good stuff.

If I could figure out a way to make it waterproof, I have a portable dvd
player. I don't think my wife will let me take her laptop out on the lake.

I would think this would be an accessory that Hummingbird could
sell a ton of. Lots of people fish alone.

There exists marine grade monitors on the market, but big bucks........You will need a daylight viewable screen and weatherproof type lcd monitor. expensive...that is why I am looking at the Garmin. It cheaper than a basic monitor....
