Hmm, I had set positive, but now everyone is saying negative. Now that I think about it, yeah, negative would be better. I guess that if the wire every frayed on the run, it would ground to the hull and burn a hole possibly.

Thanks guys for the help, it was a little confussing. I went today and got the switch at Wally World, and the wire at Lowe's.
I'm going to get my grandson this weekend for a few days and he loves to help me tinker with the boat, I'll let him help install it, he'll love that.
I gotta get that boy on some crappie, the last time he was here fishing was terrible.
My neighbor had a guided trip for two guys last friday and they caught 60, Sat. he fished alone and caught 30, Sun. he said he struggled to caught 20.
So they are back, not real big, but hey there back biting.....yea.
