Default V2 foot pedal mod....2 foot control

Added the remote switch. Removed the pedal switch actuator piece. Now when I steer left or right, I don't bump the go ahead button in the transition. I can disconnect the big foot switch if I wanna.

Steer with one foot, power off/on with other. I did this 'cause I got a bum foot....Makes life easier for me....

This works good hooked up on the kitchen table....

Cane Pole, the main reason I am building a remote is that I have never been able to get use to the foot control on this new trolling motor. I did have a motor guide with the cable and I guess I had gotten so use to it that the V2 was not comfortable. I hope this thing really works out for me! Thanks for the pics, looks like that will work really good.

When I had my old power drive. I ran it by hand. I would sit the foot control my leg. And just use my hand to run and stuff. That worked out great for it.
Now with the Terrova. I use the remote and the foot control.
Plan on taking the springs out of my terrova and fixing them where it does not take much to turn it. That way I can use it sitting down. Like Tom, One of my legs does not work great. And standing up the foot control works great. But not setting down.

Wow, never seen a kitchen table with a foot pedal. We're still old school down here, with a lazy susan. I like the concept, leaves both hands free for eating, and with that on-off switch, you could stop someone else from getting that last serving. Then, about the time they reached, hit the left switch, and rotate it out of reach. Way cool Mr. Tom.
