I recorded some stuff. Since I have the latest upgrades for the 997, I cannot use HBSI file converter, so I couldn't view in yellowfin viewer or the Deep View
file viewer.
I didn't want to downgrade my unit to a previous version, so I used the Knudsen viewer. It is view only shareware and can view xtf files. Not as fancy as yellowfin, but works ok.
You have to use HB son2xtf converter, then open the xtf file in the PostSurvey program.
I enlarged this pic. That is why it is so grainy.
You can see where the water column widens. Notice the stuff on the drop.

When I keep my gratitude higher than my expectations I have a good day
?? Why don't you want to use the previous edition of the software so you can use the YellowFin program. It's mostly identical and you can reinstall the new version when YellowFin becomes usable with it.
Good fishing.
