When out fishing today and my fish finder is in all Spanish!!!, I'm not Spanish. It's never done that before, what's up with that?, it's also reading the depth wrong real bad, like I'm in 18 fow and it's showing 2 fow, what's up with that.
I guess I'll have to call Humminbird tomorrow.

Crappie Cowboy,
I would look into my menu's and see if there is anywhere you can change it back to US. if not you can send the unit into our service center and they can change it back. The address is:
Humminbird
Attn Service
678 Humminbird Lane
Eufaula Al 36027
The turn around time is prestty fast. It should not be any longer than 3 day turn around.
Here is a link to the online manual....it should tell you how...if not I would just reset to factory settings.

Those instructions leave a lot to be desired. You can read them if you download this free program: Adobe Reader - Free software downloads and reviews - CNET Download.com
Looks like if you push the menu button until you get to options, it should be there. There is also a diagnostics menu that might help you solve your problem.

I talked to a lady at HB this morning and she said the unit was ''broke'' and old and couldn't be repaired, but they could ran a test to see what was the
problem and that charge would be $60 some odd dollars.
I thought man that would be stupid!!
I know the unit was old [6 yrs] and only a one year warranty, but they should be able to work on there on there own product.
I'm a little disappointed with Humminbird, I didn't realize they had a cut off date on there products for repair, I wish I had known that before I bought Humminbird brand....oh well.
My next unit will be another brand for sure. Man I'm glad my truck is a Dodge and not Humminbird.

That stinks cowboy, but the other brands are more than likely the
same way. I know I've heard a lot of folks griping about Lowrances
that are only a few years old, being told they can trade in, but no fix.
Planned obsolescense - they done figured out how to make us
buy new ones, or so they think anyway.
