joby , its not connected to the front fish finder yet, anyway a fella can send it back and upgrade to something else..but kind a scared to spend more money on anything made by humminbird , if a 1000. fishfinder doesnt make me happy, just doesnt make since that a 2000. or more fishfinder by the same company will make me happy...

You get a personal offer from the guy representing the people that make something to fix it, you had better take it pronto. I guarantee you'll get a top notch unit back from him. The man's offering personal help, Go find that anywhere else.
I also agree joby helped get my 787 problems took care of you just don't get that king of service any where

Give these guy's a chance to help you out on this. I use to say that Garmin was the best. And they are good units but now where near as good as the humminbird. These guy's will fix your problem and you will see that humminbird is the best of the best hands down. And you can not beat the customer service anywhere.
Joby Both units will get connection by themselves. When you add the Interlink they say not compatible. Ill give you a call!

I have all humminbirds on my boat 1197 rear 87c front I disagree with Richard GARMIN IS STILL THE BEST gps hands down Humminbird has been told time and time again that they need see how garmin goes to waypoints but they dont pay attention Their customer service is second to none and I live in Lowrance country about 8 miles from plant and take alot of ribbing about running humminbird but there is no other than the side imaging units
The interlink is defintly the problem. I reinstalled my originals way and they both work fine. I just wonder how long i'm gonna have a hundred dollar expense under my console until i can use it again.
