jhef, I feel the same way as you..I have been a Lowrance FF & Garmin GPS person for a long time..I get confused with the side imagining and just looking for a quality, stand alone, FF..I narrowed it down to the 510C Lowrance & the 777c Humminbird..After conversing with Joby@ Humminbird I have decided on the 777C..I have never owned a HB but these folks seem to be interested in helping ...

I will be visiting CanePole this Fall for training..After the lessons I might change my mind about the SI units..
