    Default H'bird weathersense

Is anybody getting any good out of one of these? I've got one on my
787, the freebie deal - buy a 700 series, free weathersense.

I can't really make heads or tails of it, seems like it's forecast is wrong
    most of the time

The pressure history on it always look like a wave when I get to the lake -
I'm wondering if the changes in elevation I see on the drive are messing
with it's head. I know my house is around 500', and Sunday I took hwy
4 below Bay Springs dam, around 350', and ended up nearly an hour later
fishing on Little Bear which is around 620'.

Maybe I would get more useful info out of it if I turned the "sampling" off
and just let it start reading when I'm on the lake?

Anyway, glad I didn't pay for it

Thanks for the reply Joby, do you mean you agree with
"turn the sampling off" - or the "glad I didn't pay for it"?

Did't mean to be fussing over a freebie, just thought somebody
might have some ideas to help me use it better.

Hey J White, just stick your head out side and if it gets wet it is raining. If your nose is blistered then the sun is out. If you are going fishing it doesn`t matter.:D:D

Cane Pole I will have to disagree with you. Unlike many of our competitors our products are Designed and made right here in Eufaula Alabama. Even our Customer Service and Service Department is done here in Eufaula. We can really say the product is Made in the USA.

We even have a three day turn around in our Service Department if you have a problem with the product. It is hard to beat that.

J White I would turn the sampling off.

I like most Humminbird stuff, I don't care if it is made in Alabama.
