Ltbama is a side imaging freak and has made a lot of very detailed posts with pics about it and comparing the same structure to Lowrance's screens. Of course, his context is as it relates to Bass Fishing, but almost 100% of it would apply to Crappie as well.

I thought I would post it here for those interested in learning more about how to read your sonar better. You can do a search for his user name and find a wealth of info complete with lots of pics.
