    There is an update on Lowrance's website for this unit. So far I have been unable to do it.

    Is this the new 2.3 version? I did mine the other day with out any problems.

    Yes it is. I finally got it. I think it was a bad SD chip.

    The update has solved the issue I always had where the unit would "freeze" for a while when going from deeper to shallow water with a lot of weeds. I'm glad they got that one worked out.
