    Default what finder under 300?


    Wanting to replace my x85 on the bow of the boat.Any recomendations?Thinking of x96 or eagle 480 but would like to hear from any experience with either of these units or any others around this price range.

    i just bought a X96 and love it. it's easy and simple to use i highly recommend it and its only 199.00 at bass pro

    I was looking at both of these units also at a Bass Pro store. They are comparable units but here are some differnces: Resolution - X96 is 320x320, Eagle 480 is 480x480. The X96 has digital flasher ability whereas the 480 does not. When it comes to price, most of the money is in resolution. The X96 is a great unit but I'd prefer the 480 because of the higher resolution. But having a flasher is valuable to some.

    i have a fishmark480 that i like. it works well. i have just ordered a new hummingbird 575 that someone suggested. i liked everything i read about it. it should be there when i get home this evening. hopefully sunday i will get to check it out. then i tell you if i like it or not.

    i have a lowance x67c,249.00 bps and it works fine,i really like small size up front on my 18ft.bass

    gotta HB565 thats been on a trial run that is awesome .....they run about $200
