Question for someone from Humminbird?
Is this true? that if the stock transducer won't read at High speeds that they have a "Y" cable now that can be used to add the XNT 9 20 transom mount transducer which is a new high speed dual beam, 20/60 degree, 200/83 kHz transducer. The transducer runs $56.99 from the factory and the cable is around $25 I believe. With the XNT 9 20 and the SI transducer connected to the "Y" cable there would be no need for a switch and the unit would display info from both transducers as if the signals had come from the stock transducer. For $82.00 this should fix the high-speed issue. Personally I think Humminbird should have just designed two separate transducers for this product and avoid the "If it doesn't work scenario" all together. I guess I could live with the additional $82.00
Also Planning on a new 700 or 900 unit for the front of the boat and will be getting the Interlink to link them together. Looking for color and one that can use the GPS of course.
Now can I use 2 GPS receivers with this? Or is it rated for only one Receiver?
Would be nice to have one in front and back to be able to hold over crappie beds better.
Or just mount the receiver up front ?
Pete
