Disclamer. I am not responsible for anyones wiring. If you can't wire, don't try it.
I would mount the circuit in a good metal box . Use good heat sinks for the IRF fets. Waterproof the box and the circuit board. This circuit gets really warm, so be aware of this when mounting box.
the 100k potentiometer should be a sealed type to keep the grit out. If you mount the pot remotely from the circuit box, I would twist the wires to/from the box to reduce coupled noise.
Wire the heave outline with same size wiring as you boat tm wiring. Lots of current here.
I have used this circuit numerous times, so I know it works.
