    Default Adding foot switches


    I have an older but good Evinrude Scout 12/24 trolling motor. I want to add two of the foot switches that has 2 wires. It says to cut the neg and put these in series with the neg. It seems to me like you would still have to mash the sw on the foot pedal. Has anyone used these foot sw and if so how did you wire them in.
