Here is what I been talking about. Hard to get rid of this crap. Shows up real good when big engine is running. 997 has its own personal battery (not on TM or engine batt). I bout got it figured out. Sidescan and hemorrhoids go together pretty good.

Pole, I have never seen that exact kind of snow on mine. I do have mine wired to the trolling motor batteries, and it goes to crap with the TM on. But I have the 997 at the console and it is rare that I use them together.
Do you suspect that snow to be coming from the crosstalk to the power cables or the transducer cable?
Worst case, just tell everyone that those dots must be small bait fish! hahhaha.
Good luck, as Panman said, chasing those ghosts is not fun. Worse than old trailer wiring.

hey tom move your trandsducer if it seems to be only when big engine is on and also run your power lines through some vacuum hose to seel off any interference
