    Default EverStart Maxx Marine Batteries

Well after a the old batter went dead for the trolling motor, I went to Wal Mart and got a new one plus a battery box to fit it. I was about to buy an Optima Blue top Advanced Auto but it costs a couple more shinny pennies that I didn't have...

It comes with a 1 1/2 year free replacement and a 3 year warranty IIRC...

Anyone else runs this battery? How do you like it? How long have ya had it?

The Everstart Maxx is about the best value in batteries. I've got a set getting ready to start their 4th year. May have to replace them this year, but that won't be bad. High reserve for the money and you can get warranty replacement at any Walmart.

I'm going through my second one.
I don't have any complaints except for the bull you have to go through to get a replacement.

They tried to make me leave mine over night so THEY could charge it and test it. I wasn't about to drive another 30 miles for that.
I went to my truck and got my hydrometer and showed them the bad cell. Took a while, but it was worth it.

I'll definitely keep that in mind, maybe it's a good thing I carry a multimeter in my truck
