Default humminbird CHO? What does the Cho stand for?

Also anyone know the cheapest place to buy a 797c2? I can't afford the 997c and even if I wait, I will probably never be able to have one.

    Default Cho

CHO - is an acronym that stands for Control Head Only. This means you get the unit itself , usually the hardware to affix it to your boat but no transducers or any other hardware.

Often used as a selling gimmick so the seller has the lowest price on search engines. It is not totally useless though as some can save money. If they are willing to do a little searching for the necessary parts. Or sometimes the buyer wants an extra unit for one transducer.

Three Rivers Marine is a great place to deal with. Back when I got mine, they were out and I ordered from Scuba Steves. Two of the best prices on the net.

That is the one you would won't if you have a Minn Kota with a built in transducer and do not need the extra transducer.
Also here is the best price I have seen on line anywere.

Here is a website that you can look at. They have good prices. Just ordered the
787c from them. Will order the 997cSi in the summer.

I got the 797si w/ maps to my door for $1,000. I could have gotten the one without the maps for $850
