think the 997 and 595 running with aerator will run down start battery?
Is aerator intermittent or is it continuous? What is time cycle?Quote:

its inter, you think crank batt, will hold up to elec.? jumping mat to mat should charge a little
Hook it up like you want it and turn it all on and check it later (8 hours or so).Quote:

DTG, I answered your PM this way.
Here is your solution. Put both depth finders on the starting battery. If your aerator is on a timer put it on the starting battery too. If you leave your aerator on all the time put it on one of the trolling motor batteries.
I have a timer on my aerator so I run everything off my starting battery. I have never ran it down where I couldn't start the motor.
BTW, are you using an on-board charger?
yes, a minn kota
if i hook 2 tm batt. in parallel do i hook just one side of on board charger to one of battreries and other to starter batt?
last question, if in parallel can you boost off cranking batt?
OK, while you are moving wires around it would be a good time to check your charger to be sure all leads are doing their job. Unplug the charger and disconnect all the charger's leads. Situate them so they can't short out to each other or anything else. Plug the chager back in and check the voltage at each set of leads. They should read about 13.3 volts DC at each lead. If one or more leads don't read that then you are not getting a proper charge to that battery.Quote:
