Default How do you secure your FFS pole when on the road?

I've installed a Lowrance Eagle Eye 9 FFS using the Fishing Specialities down pole, but crappie weather has not allowed a trip to the lake to test it out yet, but my ? is how do you guys with a similar setup secure the down rod/pole with the xducer attached inside the boat while towing to the water??

I've got the room to just lay it down in the lower section of the console area, or on the elevated platform up front in my Deep V 16.5 tin boat, but don't like the idea of the xducer bouncing around on the carpeted floor on the road??
    GO BIG ORANGE !

I meant to behave, but there were just way too many other options available at the time.

I use a rod tie down to hold it down.

I’ve got the H’bird mega live with their mount. I put it on a Minn Kota trolling motor shaft support when it’s swung in. Too expensive really, but it does do the job, and well.

I ended up putting mine on the trolling motor because dodging stumps with two things was impossible . Had mine on a seelite system to begin . I used stretch straps to secure going down the road .Name: 20220304_104254 (1).jpg
