I like the new remote, hopefully there'll be a software update so it'll work with the Ghost.

I've actually been enjoying watching the creativity that Lowrance and Garmin have been putting into trolling motor controls. If I start transitioning to Lowrance fishfinder, I'll definitely look at a Lowrance trolling motor. I currently have both Garmin and Humminbird which is why I was looking at both an Ultrex and a Force before going Ultrex because of a good deal. Coming from a Terrova, if I decide that I don't like the big cable on the Ultrex, I have no problem looking at Garmin and Lowrance again.
If I'm not at work or taking kids to their activities, you might find me on "The Rez" fishing. If not there, I could be in the garage working on my boat.

I hope they've done a better job of beta testing then they did with the Lowrance/Motorguide xi5 collaboration...Mine has had a fair amount of issues the latest beeping one time and shutting off in anchor lock, or heading lock, hit anchor or heading lock on the remote starts right back up.The cruise control has never worked right, it randomly ramps up to high, sounds like a common problem on internet forums. I've tried a the lowrance fixes dongle, down loaded patches on SD cards new GPS module and control board same thing happens, I don't think they know how to fix it.

Are you talking about the big foot cable laying across the middle of the deck?

Both the power cable coming from foot pedal and the bundle of mechanical and control cables that you have to swing around the fishfinders and everything else. I spider rig when crappie fishing (most of the time), so I also have rod holders to have to keep from getting tangled up.
