Just to keep everyone in the loop, Ricky’s antenna got here today. Plugged it up to the unit and it gives me all kinds of GPS views. So I guess I’m in the market for another antenna.

If my unit is a gen 1 is the antenna helping... considering the fact that my lake Wheeler was hd in gen2 and my unit can't open the file.

Any network capable unit can network but can be limited by the model and differing sonar technologies like CHIRP or MEGA frequencies. CHIRP mode prevents sharing sonar with non-CHIRP models.
